Hone your eye for design and function and learn how to incorporate web development rules and functions into your concepts to create incredible websites, with the Gwinnett Tech Website Development and Design program!

In the Gwinnett Tech Website Design and Development program, you will learn how to concept, design, develop and implement a website. You’ll use your creativity to design and implement effective and dynamic websites for mobile and web devices that deliver optimal functionality and a positive user experience.

The Website Development and Design program includes courses and training in HTML5, CSS3, Web graphics, scripting at the browser (JavaScript) and server levels (PHP & MySQL), WordPress, BootStrap, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Web Project Management and Web host management. The program is offered during the fall, spring and summer semesters at our Lawrenceville and Alpharetta – North Fulton campuses. Program classes are scheduled for day or evening, and students may begin the program during the fall, spring, or summer semesters.

What can I expect from this program?

The Website Development and Design degree is a sequence of courses designed to provide students with an understanding of the concepts, principles, and techniques required in Internet Web Design. Program graduates will be proficient in technical areas of computer terminology and concepts, program design and development.

Can I work while I learn?

Class schedules are designed to encourage student employment in the computer science industry while taking classes.
