Gwinnett Tech’s Networking Specialist program is a portal to any digital working environment. The program is a sequence of courses designed to provide students with an understanding of the concepts, principles and techniques required in the development and maintenance of computer networks.
Learn how to design and build data communication networks, including local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and Intranets, and how to use specialized software to store and organize data while keeping it secure from unauthorized access.
Program graduates will be competent in designing, implementing, securing and troubleshooting network computers within an organization. The program is offered during the fall, spring, and summer semesters at our Lawrenceville and Alpharetta-North Fulton campuses. Program classes are scheduled for day or evening, and students may begin the program during the fall, spring, or summer semesters.

What can I expect from this program?
Throughout the Networking Specialist program, you will learn the latest hardware and software required to develop and maintain a complex system of computer networks. With technology, faculty who will share real-world IT experience, and a growing number of degrees and certificates, Gwinnett Tech’s Networking Specialist program is a launchpad for a career in one of the industry’s hottest specialties.

Class schedules are designed to encourage student employment in the computer science industry while taking classes.
How much will it cost?
