After you have submitted your admissions application, view the checklist of your supporting documents by logging into your admissions application portal .
After the supporting item has been received and processed by the admissions team, your checklist will be updated with a green checkmark.
Allow at least 14 business days for processing. The month (30 business days) leading up to an admissions deadline is considered a peak processing period and you can expect a delay in the document review process during this time.

My Applications: This is where you will see any admissions application that you have submitted
- You submitted an admissions application for Fall 2025. Now you need to complete your checklist. When you click this section, you will see your checklist items
- You submitted an admissions application for Fall 2023. When you click this section, you can see what your decision was.

These are the items that are needed to complete your student file, so you can be accepted to the college.
- The official transcript, showing graduation date and final GPA, can be sent electronically through a secure and approved 3rd party such as Parchment, GaFutures, Naviance etc to AdmissionsDocs@GwinnettTech.edu It can also be brought to campus in the original sealed envelope, or mailed to campus: Attn: Admissions 5150 Sugarloaf Parkway Lawrenceville, GA 30043
- Lawful Presence can be satisfied by your current Real ID, US Passport or US birth certificate. It can be emailed to AdmissionsDocs@GwinnettTech.edu
- Proof of Residency can be satisfied by your current drivers license, learners permit, state ID card or Real ID (at least 12 months from first day of semester). You can also use your Ga500 tax documents. If you do not have one of the previously mentioned items, you can submit two of the following items: 12 consecutive months of bank statements, utility statements, mortgage/lease statements. - Placement Test scores can be satisfied in one of the following ways: (1)The GPA on your official high school transcript is at least a 2.0 for certificate/diploma programs or at least a 2.6 for degree programs; (2) official SAT or Act scores, click here for details (3) acceptable transfer credit of ENGL 1101 and MATH 1111 with a grade of C or higher (4) Accuplacer assessment scores, click here for details
- Application Fee Payment is made at the time of application submission. If this is not paid at time of submission, please see the Bursar’s Office at the main campus to submit payment in person.
