Foundation comes in.
Founded in 1994, the Gwinnett Tech Foundation exists to advance the mission of Gwinnett
Technical College by expanding access to education, empowering student success, and driving
economic growth in our region. Through strategic partnerships and generous community
support, the Foundation plays a vital role in shaping the future of our students, our college, and
the businesses we serve.
What We Do:
• Student Scholarships: We remove financial barriers by providing scholarships that make college and career dreams a reality.
• Faculty & Staff Development: We invest in professional growth opportunities that elevate teaching, innovation, and student engagement.
• Campus Growth: We lead capital campaigns that bring transformative facilities to life such as the George Busbee International Center for Workforce Development, the life Sciences Center, and our Alpharetta-North Fulton Campus.
Every dollar raised by the Foundation is an investment in people-students gaining skills, faculty inspiring minds, and businesses building a stronger workforce. Together, we’re not just supporting education-we’re shaping the future of our community.

Foundation Board
The Gwinnett Tech Foundation is led by a volunteer Board of Trustees made up of influential leaders from local businesses and organizations. Their guidance ensures we stay true to our mission and remain accountable to our donors. Their leadership is
essential to our impact and growth.
Gwinnett Tech supporters come from many walks of life and backgrounds. Some were scholarship recipients themselves in their youth, and are committed to assisting today’s students who are striving to achieve their dreams. Gwinnett Tech Foundation donors not only invest their treasure in student success, but many are involved personally as mentors, classroom guest lecturers and serve on program advisory boards and other committees.
