This degree prepares students currently in management, and students anticipating career changes into management, for advanced positions in a variety of businesses and industries. Graduates with an associate’s degree in business management are qualified for entry and intermediate level managerial positions in service, industry, manufacturing, government and non-profit organizations.
What can I expect from the Business Management program?
This program helps develop students’ analytical skills while increasing their business knowledge. This program provides students with a strong education and well-rounded knowledge of business operations and management functions. Students learn effective leadership skills while increasing their overall knowledge for managerial positions for both the public and private sectors. With a career in business management, organized and motivated managers can keep every aspect of an operation running smoothly and efficiently. Day-to-day operations are as important as a plan for the future.
What does Business Management do?
This program includes management and accounting courses and college-level general education courses. Students learn how to effectively collect, analyze and present information necessary to make sound business decisions in the ever-changing global business world. Graduates of the program receive a degree with a concentration in general management, Human Resources Management, Logistics or Operations Management.
