Business Sciences is the study of problems within organizations and the methodology to analyze and correct business personnel, finance and knowledge problems.

The associate of applied science degree program prepares students to begin successful careers in the accounting profession. The associate degree program includes accounting and related business courses and college-level general education courses. The program features both manual and computerized accounting systems. Students receive training in preparation for a variety of employment situations.

What can I expect from the Accounting Technology program?

Students learn many aspects of the business world including finance skills necessary to pursue careers in bookkeeping, payroll, auditing accounts payable and accounts receivable.

What does an accountant do?

Accountants prepare and examine financial records. They ensure that financial records are accurate and taxes are paid properly and on time. Accountants assess financial operations and work to help ensure that organizations run efficiently.
