Gwinnett Tech Boards Earn Statewide Honors for Leadership and Governance

GWINNETT – Gwinnett Technical College proudly announces two significant achievements that underscore its commitment to excellence in governance and leadership. The Gwinnett Tech Foundation Board of Trustees has been recognized as a Role Model Board for 2025, a distinction awarded to boards that demonstrate exemplary leadership, engagement, and advocacy in advancing technical education.

In addition, the Gwinnett Technical College Board of Directors has achieved 100% certification for all members for the 16th consecutive year, reaffirming its dedication to best practices and continuous improvement in board governance.

“These accomplishments reflect the unwavering commitment of our boards to the mission and vision of Gwinnett Tech,” said Dr. Glen Cannon, President of Gwinnett Technical College. “Their leadership ensures that we remain focused on student success and workforce development, setting a standard for excellence across the state.”
